The following Paid Lunchtime Programs are still open for registration for 2017:

• Lego Robotics on Mondays for grades 3 to 6
• Performing Arts on Wednesdays for grades 2 to 5
• Young Rembrandts for grades 1 to 6 on Thursdays

Lunch Time Program Sampler

Green Acres is offering our school a one time only free lunch time sampler of their lego robotics program.  The course will be offered for students in grades 3 to 6 on December 6th (during the lunch hour) for a one time only free trial.  If the course proves popular this could be a paid lunch time program we could offer in the new year.

Friday is Pizza Day at JVPS

This Friday, October 7 is our first Pizza Lunch.  If you haven't signed up for pizza there is still time.  The form is open on School Cash On-Line.  Please place your order by tomorrow morning for inclusion for this Friday.

Lunch Time Arrangements

Please note that during the lunch hour students are expected to remain at school for the entire lunch unless the following is in place:

·        The Lunch Time Agreement form currently in the office signed by a parent that states the student may leave school property

·        A note on the day the student wishes to leave school property for lunch signed by a parent. This note must be presented at the office and the student must sign out and then sign in when he/she returns

Please note that it will not be possible for students to phone home to obtain permission to leave school property over the lunch hour.   At lunch time arrangements MUST be made in the morning before students arrive at school.  

Opening up Mr. Sub Orders

Dear Families,

We are opening up Mr. Sub Tuesday orders once again for any student who has not had an opportunity to purchase subs.  

Subs will be delivered every Tuesday for 10 weeks commencing April 26. Delivery dates are:

April 26, May 3, 10, 17,24, 31 and June 7, 14, 21, 18. 

If you have already purchased and paid to June 28^th you do not need to submit again.

All profits from the sale of Mr. Sub will go towards your child’s educational experience, such as renovating the library, supporting new technology in all classrooms and special events.
